There is always an administration review when a foreign company buys another company with operations in the US. I have seen many deals rejected by various White Houses for a number of reasons, including competitive impact, security, labor, management practices, and so on. Historically, it doesn't take much to have a deal rejected.

This deal was a no brainer rejection. I'm shocked that it is where it is right now.

How do you know that? And keep in mind that a rather small group in the right location could do signicant damage.

but I would be interested to see what kind of screening is going on....
I would very much like to know that.
