Bush's political opponents will oppose anything he does. That is why their opinions don't really matter. The fact that most conservatives oppose this deal ought to be a sign to Bush to withdraw it.

So your opinion is that celebration of 911 took place only in Afghanistan? That riots about the Danish cartoons were confined to there?

That port management contracts should have been given to Japanese-dominated Burma during WW II because we were not at war with Burma?

That there is no higher risk associated with this contract than there would be if it were given to a British, Canadian, or US company?

You know what I want to see before something like this is done? I want to see moderate Muslims protesting and demonstrating against Islamofascists. Until that happens, they impress me as approving of a long string of attacks on Western nations.
