You might be right about the borders. When yugoslavia failed, i thought this might be the outcome. In the s/t for 3 state its how iraq shiaa state interacts with the persians. There is some arab/persian tension--if i recall a poster Sun Tzu used to talk about this alot. Persians look down on their arab cousins, i think and the arabs always seem to have distrust of non-arabs witness israel, kurds, persians, etc.
