Frankly, this is one of the stupidest things Bush has done, IMO. It's right up there with Harriet Miers.

Anyway, there is nothing I can post to change your mind about this deal.

A state is a legal entity. As such, it has no religious beliefs of its own.
The ONLY religion that can be practiced in Saudi Arabia is Islam. All others are legally banned. It is also banned to possess any literature from other religions. To me, that indicates the Saudi state DOES have a religiob- -Islam.

And if there is bigotry here, it is on the part of the Saudi state.
