Daisy has a bed under my rolltop desk, one next to my chair in the family room, one in the kitchen, one in the basement, one in the car, one in my truck, and one in our bedroom. She moves from one to another whenever I change locations.

She's a great dog. Sometimes I will sit with her outside a shopping center or store waiting for my wife. She'll sit on a pedestal or bench. I won't be there ten minutes before somebody will want to come over and pet her.

She's a black and white springer spaniel, with a white-tipped nose and no blaze between her eyes. When we come back to the car, all we can see is that white nose.

Our recently departed lab used to go wild whenever we'd say "who wants to go for a ride in the car?" For a time, that was her absolutely favorite activity.
