Labs do seem to have problems. I think every one our family has had developed cancer, disorientation, or something. They are nice dogs, though. Everybody needs unconditional love. Dogs are a wonderful source. We are hoping to train Daisy to be a therapy dog at the VA medical center. She just loves up everybody who comes to us, unless I'm not there. She startled the UPS man the other day when he came to the door. She's very territorial, but doesn't get too close to strangers when they come up. Just barks.
