Here is one of the abuses: "Mohammed al Qahatani,..., was apprehended in Afghanistan." He "was subjected to a 160 days of isolation in a pen perpetually flooded with artificial light. He was interrogated for 48 of 54 days for 18 to 20 hours at a stretch. He had been stripped naked, straddled by taunting female guards,..., forced to wear womens underwear on his head, to put on a bra, was threated by dogs, placed on a leash and was told his mother was a whore." He was subjected to phony kidnapping, given large quantities of liquids without access to a toilet and deprived of sleep for 3 days. His heart rate dropped to 35 beats per minute.

From the log quoted in this months New Yorker.
