You still don't get my point:

1. They decided to remove the kosher certification from their Canada products.

2. That piece of action no doubt cost them some money

3. The decision to spend that money on that piece of action was no doubt based on the fact that the savings from opting out óf the kosher certification program would be higher than would it would have cost them to carry on and preserve status quo.

You ever been involved in a cost benefit program?

Now, don't come with that BS that the kosher certification program is but free of charge, provided and supervised by no cost organizations for caritas style reasons only.

AK, this is BUSINESS. And the very people running this business have so far - successfully I must say - done what they can to prevent any of us from understanding what kind of monnies are involved.
