Yes 3000 people died on 9/11, 2001 but that's over 5 years ago. And yes 10,000 people could die from a terrorist attack today!

But it's no reason to screw up the entire country, to suspend our liberties and throw us into crippling debt. Other countries have dealt with terrorism for years, we've been blessed, especially considering our politics.

It's life in the modern world, we can try to change the causes or we can hide under the couch and expect to be "protected" like little children by our dysfunctional government.

We need to grow up.

If Americans are afraid of Islam because of 9/11, then they are being irrational.
