Bush lied that he didn't know about the deal. The proof is that it would be impossible for him to learn in 2 days enough about the deal to endorse it 100% and threaten a veto. One more example of an obvious Bush lie. And even if he were telling the truth, this just makes him look weak, out of touch and not in control of anything going on.

I would also like to know where Cheney stands on this, and who exactly engineered this deal. Follow the money trail. Where does it really lead? Carlyle Group? Halliburton? Where? And why do it? What possible reason for doing this deal? Whatever Bush's reason it's not a good or honest one.
