My husband, an avid Republican and former Bush supporter, has asked me for the phone numbers of all our Congressional Representatives. He will call them tomorrow and ask for them to fight against this port contract with a UAE based company. He will also ask them to stop this war in Iraq immediately. He cannot bare to see any more AMericans become maimed or die in the middle of the Civil War that's erupted in Iraq. He never thought he would agree with Boxer and Feinstein on much of anything....especially Boxer. But he will call tomorrow and pledge his support for them if they move to stop Bush!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes..........there is a God out there.....LOL I am totally amazed and more than ecstatic! If my husband has changed his feelings and can admit it to me we must have thousands if not millions more like him in this country. He was dumbfounded over Bush's story about not knowing about the contract. That's what completely pushed him over the top to voice his support for the Democrats........the obvious lie. We have no leadership abd there is no end to the lack of competence. This current attitude of the Bush Administration is the same as the hands off approach to Saudi Arabia and other Arab nations that preceeded 9/11.
