No...it's you that have the position and were unable to substantiate it. One link from a Russian source in a sea of internet servers does not indicate truth.

My position is that I am unaware of any arms or spare parts being negotiated (by Carter that is) for hostages and until you present a link from a good source...like the Carter Library...or other reputable source...you assertion still goes begging...

It's not very likely that I'm going to be able to find any information on a negative. It's up to you to prove your assertion, and up to now you have not.

PS...I searched the Carter Library's web site and found no such substantiation of the assertion that rides on your one link pony.
