I'm not giving advice. I'm stating an opinion. I've been short the homebuilders until fairly recently. The question is what happens in the future. I think the homebuilders are due for a counter trend rally to shake out the shorts. I think they work higher on bad news just as the shorts have pressed their bets so certain that a crash is at hand. This is a market of paradox. Nothing is easy. I see sentiment that has gotten too negative on the homebuilders. If you disagree, that's great. Good luck.
