Maybe not but they have to be as equally important, don't you think? And right now that's not the way American foreign policy reads.

Pretty much by definition they can't. It the US is going to promote democracy in the Arab and Muslim world, and 1.2 billion vote that Israel should not exist, and 6 million in the Arab/Muslim world vote that it should exist (the Israelis), the 1.2 billion, in a democratic system, get there way.

The US might disagree with the vote, but based on georgraphical location, who cares? The 1.2 billion are correct.
