You may think I am mad because the posts which I make on political boards aren't eligible to win your prize. This isn't true as I know if I wanted to try and win the prize all I would have to do is make a post on a market board. I won't be doing that but if I did care about the prize here is what I would do.

I would open about 100 windows, or as many as I could open without crashing, it might be a larger or smaller number. I would find out now before we get close to the 22,222,222. In each of these windows I would have a post ready to post on a market board just by hitting "post public." When the number of posts got close to the number I would post them as fast as I could.

It varies widely. Anywhere from 15 to 40 percent on any given day. Lower on weekdays, higher on weekends.

If memory serves, it was well in excess of 50% on typical weekdays when we acquired the site.

And to further clarify a big part of the rationale for requiring the winning grub to be a market-related post on a market-related thread: We will be putting out a PR announcing the milestone and we're not particularly keen on bragging that the milestone post was simply "Bush is a weenie".

I'm hoping the post will be something we, as a site, can be proud of because it'll probably be linked in the PR.

Future ones will be run differently. We'll still do PR's when the milestones are hit, but most of the prize money will go to WAGgers rather than the poster who hit the milestone.
