So the much maligned US pays hospital doctors about 5 times as much as Germans receive.

Thanks for the articles. I like the part about 60 hour work week that the Doctor (during his surgical training) in Germany had to work (as though that is an example of a physician being overworked!) - and then getting paid on the side to do chart work. I'll show it to the physicians I know, I bet they'll all be thankful that they weren't trained in Germany. LOL!

Then again, the last thing I want to hear is how these days medical residents have it easy with their 80 hour work week.
