Please don't skip the important words, Pro.

My ONLY objection was the RIDICULOUS CLAIM that Cy has made OVER AND OVER that the US experienced some sort of 'major DEFLATIONARY COLLAPSE in the 'nineties'.

He has made the false claim many, many times.

But, the US never experienced macro-deflation in the 'nineties. (Japan certainly did... maybe poor Cy thinks he's living in Japan... but it never happened in the US.) We had steady or rising INFLATION for the entire period of the 1990s.

We haven't had actual DEFLATION in the macro economy since the Great Depression in the 1930s.
