Michal -

Have you added RAM? I've bought a second 1GB stick for mine. I'm interested in knowing how it will affect the performance of apps under Rosetta.

P.S. Screen. Dang setting was dialed down all this time. Not sure if that was the default or if I had the migrated settings dialed down right from the start. Either way, WOW on the screen when cranked up all the way. Bright? Yes, VERY!!!

And love the keyboard illumination, where only the letters seem to stand out when it gets dark. Unassuming, clear, logical.

After letting the MacBook battery run to zero overnight, then recharging it to full, indicator shows 3 hours of available computing. Dialing down the screen brightness to level one boosts the indicated time to 3.5 hours.

2.16GHz MacBook Pro -- impressions after two weeks of use.

Adore it. No, you cannot have mine, ever. Get your own.

No problems. None. Zero. Shockingly stable machine.

Been pushing it lately. Like burning a DVD with Toast while batch processing a folder of hundreds of images via Photoshop, and cruising the web at the same time, as half a dozen apps like Mail, iTunes and such are running in the background. In the past, with my old toys, this type of heavy duty multi-tasking would have brought on a freeze, for sure.

Speed? Love it. If I didn't know Rosetta is under the hood, I'd never notice it. Sure gonna be fun when all my apps are Universal and speed goes up even more!

Like I said, I adore it!
