Interesting near every ME expert forecast exactly

such events back in 2002 before GW's invasion, mainly a civil war. So George and his clan are no dummies, hence his only angle for proceeding could be profit (oil and arms) at the expense of humanity around the globe...payback is going to be very very ugly.

"The recent events in Iraq are very very bad news."

Not necessarily.

If one accepts the contention that 'Iraq' is a highly artificial 'nation' --- who's disparate religious and ethnic groups have sought freedom and self-determination for DECADES, indeed, for centuries... but been held together by force against their will, then the prospect of 'Iraq' breaking up into two or three more representative smaller nation-states is not 'bad' at all.

It's merely an inevitable consequence of knocking Saddam and the Bathists off of their perch.
