Peter, Boyington and Gus Yeager, have been my heroes ever since I saw them in newsreels between the showing of the movie. The opposing of honoring Pappy is a result of the bias, and ignorance of the college students of this generation. So, cinch up your seat belt, because they are the future American leaders. The ordeal that Pappy went through as a prisoner in Japan, would have broken the average man, but he didn't let anything stop him. All of his kills were in dog fights where he was as likely to get killed as his opponent. I know what I would like to do to those students that did this, but don't have enough life left to spend it in prison. If it had not been for all of the brave men, from every branch of the military, had not done the job they did with bravery, and courage, those students would be speaking German or Japanese in Washington. I wonder how they would have coped with that.
