I corrected myself; my subjective impression was dead wrong. Thermometer says the MacBook is about as warm as my iBook. None event.

Some of the Powerbook G4 batteries were recalled because of overheating..... Mine is a little warm but not quite enough to replace the fireplace.

Check out the recall if it really runs that hot:
