Some people are against foreign management of our ports. They should have complained when a British company owned the rights. Is it ok for a foreigner to manage an infrastructure construction project?

The commentators noted that one of the Italian figure skaters was born in on Staten Island while her father was contracted to manage a bridge construction project in New York. Should we bar that kind of thing too?
