btw...I bought out the sasamat shares out of my rrsp acct today and place them in my cash account because they would not accept or enter the share distribution that we just got into the rrsp account...just into a cash account...the value today was 2.92 canadian......you can get a us quote at the following link...the value is shown only at the end of each day..

I could have been wrong in my assement ..pulled some old papers out and reread...it says sasamat disallowed an amount equal to .26 can for each share held...otherwords if you made a claim for say 20 grand , they disallowed an amount equal to the value of your current shares ...which reduced your claim by that amount since you still owned shares...makes sense and sorry for the prev. misinterpetation.....so this recent distribution doesn't really make sense for a settlement amount does it...maybe it was just a year end distribution like you get from a mutual fund????
