The cartoons brought out thousands for about a week, a mosque gets destroyed and outside of Iraq we get hundreds? Why aren't the Muslim leaders calling for protests over destruction of one of their most holy shrines - that's gotta be worse than a cartoon in a Danish paper!

re: How about the nutcases that blew up the revered Shia mosque a few days ago. Where do you think they would be if not in Iraq. Playing golf in the resort on the Red Sea, or running around Europe looking for less than well protected Catholic church?

Wouldn't have happened without our shock and awe, occupation and "nation building" expertice. "You break it, you own it" Colin Powell, 2003.

BTW, I'll quote you, "don't change the subject".

No, they would be working for Saddam or working in businesses in Tikrit or Baghdad. Most of the insurgents are Iraqis, not foreigners.
