I am afraid you have mis-understood. You declared your position to be upholding the same standards for all regardless of political affiliation.

Is that your position or is it not.

The circumstances of each event are fairly straightforward. There were members present in both parties, and related situations, who have provided information. There is some lingering doubt about the ethics of the actors; which may or may not be based on political affiliation.

It is a fact that every reasonable effort to help the gun shot victim were enacted. There is some doubt (for some people) as to whether Chenney has owned up entirely.

Many of the facts in the drowning case are available and the degree of doubt regarding Kennedy's culpability is quite astounding not just from right wing extremists but from the perception of reasonable people of all affiliations.

In the context of ethical standards, most people from the left and the right agree, Kennedy comes up lacking. I was simply responding to your assertion that YOU hold everyone to the same standards. I await your comments regarding Kennedy.

By the way. I seem to recall you declaring your strong stand on defending the borders of the USA. You said that even though you condemn the war against terrorism, if the USA was ever invaded you would personally pick up a gun and defend us.

Now that we are being invaded along the the Southern border of the US, I wonder (not very much) whether you have picked up your AK-47 and run to protect the border. OK, I realize you would excuse that as a non-military invasion, so I wonder what your thoughts are about the Mexican military crossing the USA border in armed vehicles to defend drug smugglers.

I know what your response will be. It will be similar to the clinton stuff. When it was found that clinton lied and tried to ruin monica with allegations of stalking, you extremist folk said pshaw, "its his personal business and we don't care. Now if he were being accused of assault, abuse, or rape or something, THEN we would be very angry at him." 'THEN' came and went many times and y'all never missed a drum beat in your march to defend him.

Its basically a credibility problem for you. But you are so proud of your sell out to left wing extremism that you probably don't give a hoot...too bad.

The greatest threat to humanity in our generation is extremism.

Group extremism involves loyalty to tribe, religion, race, national origin, extreme liberal chaos, extreme oppressive totalitarianism, etc. It is the false sense of devotion to a heritage within a group that tends to corrupt one to the extreme. The cost is a principled identity of self.

When the locus of fidelity is to intelligent and principled communion with others for the sake of common humanity, the likelihood of creating chasms between groups is reduced; just as it is widened by expressions of devotion to less deserving tenets.

Extremism is the plague of our generation; one that continues to flourish because y'all are so proud of it. My hope now turns to the youth.
