Thanks Howy, yes I am having to work my way back up in this world after a frightful dismembering by the bear of the late 90's.
That alone made it very difficult to buy the depth of shares one needs to leverage a play and still buy enough different companies to diversify.

It is a lot easier to peel a few off a position of 100k at a profit and keep some for the long term than it is for 10 or 20 k. That is when you hold on while falling in love with the stock because it HAS to go up.

I am well positioned (for my circumstances now) and I was able to take profits on TK a year ago while holding a remaining 25 k for
the drill bit truth extractor. I still think TK is boom or bust on these next holes with not much liklihood of a mixed message.
I am hanging til news and then we shall see.

I have reduced diversification a bit lately but still own
14? different PM plays. I have added to ones like Guy where they are more expensive but the fundamentals are overwhelming and patience from me is the biggest factor.

Other than TK I have no drill plays that have not previously demonstrated very solid results. The bull is no so wild yet that one cannot buy reasonably ,after news, with more
information and thus less risk.

Cheers,
Ogi

It has struck me more than once since I starting investing in junior resource companies that it's very similar to producing movies or recordings.

90-95% or major label recordings and studio movies are failures financially, but the hits more than make up for the failures.
