From what I know its cost. For the people that have left here and shipped stuff (like sofas!!!) back to the US, they say that if the cargo gets through its $1,000, but if for whatever reason the port decide to inspect if (it's a sofa!!!) the shipper (my friend) has to pay an extra $2,000.

So it all comes down to cost, my man. I don't want to pay $3,000 to have someone check out my used sofa. And I don't own any enriched uranium, so don't ask.
