Tim, I already posted that I never named it a tax, that came from somebody else, not from me. Agree that tax is the wrong name for it and most likely originally invented by the media. Makes for a good head line! Taro

The Union of Orthodox Rabbis views any rejection of their Kosher proposals as "unfriendly to the Jewish community". For most ethnic groups and religions, this would be mostly meaningless. Not for Judaism in America today. They have a well oiled Jewish organization called the ADL which has the power and connections to punish any corporation or individual with a stamp of "anti-Semitism". It is not only ADL (Anti-defamation League of B'nai B'rith,. The ADL receives collaborative help from the Jewish media in addition to other Jews well placed in non-Jewish dominated media. Any corporation or individual that does not cooperate with the Union of Orthodox Rabbis or the ADL gets branded. Mel Gibson's Passion of Christ was a perfect example of exactly how this procedure works. First the Jewish ADL accused Mel and the Movie of anti-Semitism. The Jewish controlled NY Times and Washington Post immediately (within 24 hours_ repeated and elaborated on the charges. Then came the well placed Jews in the various networks and the in the choke point in the Associated Press (Jews control the vital mechanism and coke points in their accumulation and dissemination of news. In other words, they determine what gets played up or what gets killed. The major daily newspapers control the AP committee by placing their reps on the committee. Since most large prominent dailies--NY Time, Wall St. Journal, Wash. Post etc.--are controlled by Jews, they in turn control and dominate the AP committee.) In the end, the Jews had blanketed America and the world that Mel's movie was a vicious and dangerous anti-Semitic attack against Jews. For the first time in my lifetime, I witnessed the Christian community standing behind Christian values and behind a pro-Christian movie rather than allowing the bigoted anti-Christian Jewish ADL and other Jewish organizations control the dialog. In the end, Mel got his art out and tens of millions of people defied the Jewish hysteria and watched Mel's Passion of Christ. Once Christians and other non-Jews fully realized the scam behind the so called "Kosher Tax", I believe we will witness the same reaction. Many Honest secular Jews feel the same about this ripoff by the Orthodox rabbis but are intimidated in keeping their silence.
