You probably underestimate my multidimensional sports affiliation capabilities.

No, I understand exactly what you're saying.

In my own case, I root for the Steelers, Pitt Panthers, Arizona State Sun Devils, Pirates, Suns and Diamondbacks, in that order. I like football best, followed (not closely) by baseball and lastly, basketball.

In baseball, I'm down to watching maybe 2 or 3 games in the pre-season and regular season combined, plus the playoffs and World Series. In basketball, I watch maybe 2 professional regular season games and maybe 10 or so regular season college games. I watch most of the professional playoffs and championship games, and virtually all of the NCAA tournament. In football however, I'll watch any game that's available, college or pro. At times, I've even avidly watched the local high school game of the week, even though I don't know anything about the local high school athletic scene. Hey, it's FOOTBALL, right?

And in closing, HERE WE GO, STEELERS, HERE WE GO, HERE WE GO...

EK!!!

Yep. Didn't go to UConn but admire how the school is able to attract top-flight talent to Storrs, a town pretty much in the middle of nowhere. Being a long-time CT resident I also have lots of friends who attended the school.
