If this Iraq civil war devolves from here going forward I think gold blows through $600 and silver through $10 and then we reach a whole new plateau.

I have mroe confidence right now in PM's than in base metals, although I hold a fair amount of the base metal plays.

I especially like the zinc/silver plays.

And oil seems on a tight rope it will never get off of going forward.

Brave new world!

Do you have any comment on Candente, DNT. They have "inferred resource contains 1.035 billion pounds of copper and 243,000 ounces of gold." Joey Freeze was speaking in an interview an mentioned that the estimate was quite old and only covers about 20% of the known mineralization.

I'm hoping for 10 billion pounds.

What am I missing, or is this stock just not in the spotlight right now?

May be true but remember two things in terms of the sector -"a rising tide lifts all boats". And in terms of potential for gains- "groupers eat minnows and sharks eat groupers". A major concern with the seniors is that they are going to have to replace reserves, in many respects it is more practical for them to gooble up a mid-tiers with production and good reserves than to go after the little guys, unless of course the little guy have found massive reserves.
