I would like to ride the train now that air travel is so painful, but Amtrak doesn't have a useful product. They messed me up on a bus trip, even.

The last time I rode a train was when I was flying and I was going home for Christmas. My flight was canceled (I was based in Chicago) so all of us on the flight took a bus to the train and the train to Michigan...In what was usually a 1/2 flight turned into an all night train ride and by the time we were in Michigan, the airport had opened back up..I swore, never again.. The trains were dirty back then, I can't imagine what they must be like now..I know they haven't taken time to clean them.
