I'm thinking Bush will blame Cheney and Rumsfeld for the Iraq disaster. "I was just an inexpereinced former Governor, I didn't know sh*t from shinola. I didn't even know there WERE Shiia and Sunni until they told me! I let Dick and Rummy run the foreign stuff, like wars." It's probably pretty close to the truth. But we all know where the historical buck stops..

You may not like the future spin but from an American foreign policy standpoint, if we are forced to accept a three state solution , we need to support that decision by helping shiaa to be as independent of iran as possible and protect the kurds from the wrath of the turks. This will take new policy makers with new ideas. Neocon ideology has been thouroughly discredited on FP. Rummy must go too---it is symbolically necessary plus Condi must step up with new policies from State.
