The UAE isn't a mess (compared with many other countries) and we need to move away from the build of the Arab/Western confrontation. Do you think all the contracts of US companies doing business in the Middle East should also be canceled? Things are spiraling out of control and we need to start taking small steps back towards sanity. The alternative is disaster.

Bush's strong support for illegal immigration flies in the face of what all the rightwingers are talking about today, that is, BLAME THE MEXICANS. The rightwingers also don't want to think about where the money and manpower is to guard the borders. ALL IN IRAQ. Ironically, almost all affluent rightwingers depend on that cheap illegal labor to handle all their dirty work. So the rightwing refuses to back ARRESTING EMPLOYERS of illegals because that you mean arresting themselves. I'm a moderate on this issue, but what riles me is to hear Michelle Malkin/Tancredo types try to use what is obviously racism as a wedge issue to distract the country from the really serious problems we face right now, which are largely caused by Bush and his gang. Also, remember that the only terrorists that have snuck into this country came in from Canada. So how about closing that border too and putting more than one federal employee in charge of guarding the entire coast of Oregon.

Jack Abramoff visited the White House 200+ times in one year DURING the height of the so-called "war on terror". So I guess Bushies didn't have anything better to do than pander to a corrupt gambling lobbyist while they were going to war against everyone but Osama Bin Lauden. Will be interesting to see where the Abramoff money really went. Into the smear campaign against Kerry or other election fraud? Delay's foundation has repaid the Mr. Perry the funder of the Swiftvets for "truth" 26 million. Did the Abramoff money help reimburse Perry? More interesting than the Sopranos, huh? Problem is, these bastards hijacked our government, got 20,000 US troops killed or wounded and are ripping us all off for trillions, so it's serious business.
