Why else would the President of the United States, he is suppossed to be the President of the United States (not the President of Iraq as he sometimes acts) go to such lengths for a private port deal. A deal that clearly has security implications for a country 4.5 years into a war on Terrorism. A deal with a country UAE who's price's were hanging out with Osama Bin Laden in the late 1990s.

Bush represents a wealthy clique of financial interests that runs from America right through the oil patch in the Middle East. I wouldn't be at all surprised if this UAE deal has a lot to do with the pending actions against Iran. The Straits of Hormuz are vital to the free flow of oil out of the Persian Gulf. If we attack Iran, the Straits of Hormuz will require protection and guess who sits on the other side of these important straigts, UAE. Surprise, surprise! Follow the money. This deal is a nice pay off to some friends who will very shorly be repaying their debts to our country who will need their help in keeping the straights open for business.

Stop being a simpleton. Give us a good reason why our ports should have people running them that will have knowledge of our security and be just a heartbeat away from the Al Quedas of the world. The American people are tired of being lied to by suits in DC.
