I have a lot of conservative friends and I respect them for their views. But on SI and some bloggers are what I term as brown-nose conservatives. They allow themselves to be guided by Rush "the druggie" Limbaugh and Mr. Insannity. These folks raised engaged in a anti-Arab and anti-Islam tirade up until last week. And then overnight they started singing the pro-Arab and anti-Islamophobia tune. They do not have the brains to rationalize that the UAE Govt, the UAE royaltyy is split right down the middle with regards to the pro and anti US feelings. Take the case of the beheading of Daniel Pearle in Pakistan. The guy who was responsible for the beheading frequented the home of the Pakistani ISI chief. He surrendered to the police at the home of the Pakistani ISI chief. What does that tell you. And Bush says that Pakista is our ally. Pakistan and General Musharraf who has declared Dr. AQ Khan as a national treasure and continue to shelter and protect him. Bush thought itOK to attack Saddam since he harbored terrorists. But then why not attack Pakistan who is harboring Dr. Khan who peddled nuclear technology to N. Korea, Iran, Indonesia and entire host of other countries. Any brown nosers/bloggers care to explain that? Heck no.
