Dude, he (Bush) had zero involvement until the public uproar. If the Dubai-based company hadn't bought the British company with the contracts, then a Singaporean company would have bought them. The bidding war between Dubai and Singapore had been in the papers here for 1-2 months, and the security issue never even came up until some US politicians with nothing else to say started making it sound like a big deal. If the Singaporeans had bought the British firm, most Americans would probably never have heard ANYTHING about this subject.
