The obvious insinuation is that he would not be, even if legitimately indicted by the US. Is that because Muslims won't take action against Muslim extremists?

And whether or not Pakistan does anything about it is irrelevant to Dubai. Dubai is not Pakistan. You have been on a campaign to impugn Dubai since the ridiculous tempest over the ports deal broke. Dubai is probably the most progressive and pro-west of any place in the region, perhaps even including Israel. It is a friend to the US and a partner in fighting terrorism.

Opposing the sale of a private, English, ports operator to a Dubai company on the grounds that it is a Muslim country is either a) religious bigotry, b) xenophobia or c) a play on bigotry, xenophobia and national security fears to disguise protectionism.
