You're calling our troops "murderers". Cool it.
That's the kind of thing that lets the rightwingers off the hook. They can point at you and say "he calls our troops murderers". So that trumps the real argument and makes a liberal look bad. Favorite trick of the Bushies. Don't hand them that weapon.

Bush deserves to be held responsible for terrible judgement and dishonesty in Iraq, but neither he nor our soldiers deliberately killed anyone who wasn't an enemy. Collateral damage and abuses don't really count. All wars since the beginning of time have gotten innocents killed. Especially before we had precision bombs. That is why wars should be avoided if at all possible.

Kerry was never for pulling the trigger on Iraq except as a last recort if all other means of disarming Saddam failed, and only then with the UN and many other allies at our side. Of course Bush lied, jumped the gun and rushed in un-prepared. This war is Bush-Cheney's fault, not centrist democrats (except a few Lieberman types maybe).
