<I also like a book called quantum evolution by John Joe Mcfadden (molecular biologist in surrey england) which predicts that evolution starts in the quantum wave state. The christians always argue that lining up 39 peptides randomly to get a self replicating molecule is impossible, but if evolution starts in the quantum wave state that would not even be an issue.> Right... consciousness evolves.
