They will never be ready. Once US leaves, Iraq's army and police will give up their uniforms and take their weapons with them to their own ethnic enclaves. To think otherwise is naive by people who have neither lived in those countries, nor speak the language. Furthermore, those who have listened to what Iraqi's say amongst themselves and observed the way they think and act and thus know the culture and psychology of Iraqi's have not are not being listened to. The game is over for US, as hardly any real progress has been made. This "project" was based on hubris of the worst sort.
