That troubles me. One of the two stock trading programs I use has a web based version. It uses Java to deliver real time stock and option quotes. Sounds like I best check that out. Does it matter which browser one uses?

The Java apps work, but somewhat slower. If you have broadband, you may not notice. I live out in the woods and am stuck with dialup, so Java is a problem for me.

Safari helps the Java problem somewhat, not to mention being the tightest browser I've seen.
