A snake? Wow, that is the kind of metaphor that really hurts. What is amazing is how the faithful won't look at the results of the Bush Administration's policy choices. They are right in front of you. Iraq teeters on a civil war, we have paid 2 trillion dollars to bring this about. Domestic front? - We ask republicans to provide smaller govenrment and then run what government there is like a business. Efficiently. that is what they always claim they can do. Well, Bush has created the BIGGEST government in our history, created huge new government programs (which don't work - check out Homeland Security and the Medicare Part D for obvious examples). He vetos nothing...nothing.....not the pork, the earmarks, the fat....except he threatens to veto efforts to control a port deal only 18% of Americans think is a good idea in its present form. Debt everywhere....the next generation burdened as never before to pay for our failings. Hey, even the moral issues so important to you....Remember that GWB wanted Harriet Miers on the Supreme Court, not Joe Alieto. Harriet Miers!!! Stem Cells? Terry Schaivo? Out of touch with American on both. I voted for Reagan. I voted for Bush I twice....This administration is such an incompetent joke, it makes me wonder how even the faithful can look upon it as a success.
