GLAD you explained that they only recognized one of the most repressive, violent, Theocratic regimes on the Earth because it was in their own interests to do so. (That gives me EVER SO MUCH confidence that --- if they perceive that entreating with al Qaeda is 'in their own interest', just as they HAVE IN THE PAST --- they will then do so again.) Yeah, SWELL.
