I just said that to get your goat. However POlITICS today is NOTHING like our forefathers envisioned. They thought good men of education would make the best choices for our country, today its often ill informed legislators making choices to better their party, rather then the nation, voting to obtain votes from the underprivileged masses or favors from the privileged ones. I believe the Democratic party, especially the leaders today are the most guilty of this. If it keeps up, our Nation as our forefathers envisioned and even as I grew up in as a young man is doomed ultimately to failure. jdn
