i agree larger share of mri machines.. do not find that in other countries.. costs coming down and better medical evaluations.

I don't back socialized medicine, but I non-concur that costs are coming down for all. The statement made regarding the costs that insurance companies pay may well be true, but the insurance premiums keep going up way more than the rate of inflation. I believe they're in the 10% or more annual increase mode most of the last 5 years. So maybe instead of the INTC board, I should look at the stock of the insurance companies. Higher premiums collected minus lower costs paid to hospitals should equal greater profits. <wg>
