It was the T. Rowe Price web site and when she called they confirmed that they couldn't accommodate Safari.

I just went there and it loaded fine; the site even loaded a cookie onto my Safari. Any problem your friend has with it, is unrelated to Safari.

She has discovered one of the most frustrating aspects of owning a Mac; that of tech people not understanding Macs and therefore assuming that they will not work.

Macs and PCs are so similar now that there is no reason they can't do the same things.
