My account at Refco is alive pending a transfer to FXCM. In the meantime I can still trade but with so much uncertainty it could all be a waste of time, so I am trading with a different company now. This set of Refco clients is a wasting asset: If they don't transfer them intact to FXCM soon, they will cease to be clients and simply await for eventual refund. Refco creditors will lose an asset because nobody will buy 17,000 inactive and pissed off clients.
