That would eventually put Israel out of water. Most of the water in "Israel" is under the West Bank land.
One reason why Israel will never, ever pull out of the West Bank in spite of what some naive hypocrites there may claim.

Do you think the Israelis should do this even though (based on what the Palestinian leadership says) it won't give them peace? All it will do is give their enemy the chance to get stronger and more organized.
