Since politics is so exciting now, and probably will be for years to come, why don't you embrace it? Because the political discussions are usually a cesspool and detract from the overall quality of the investment discussion on this site? I do think there's room for a good political discussion site on the web, and Bob may even be the guy who can create it. But it should be a separate site. Put me down as one paying SI subscriber who definitely supports the current philosophy in regard to political posting here. Furthermore, I wouldn't mind at all if Bob set up a separate pay site for political postings that paying members here would have to pay extra for.
