Or how about the epidemic on French isle Reunion? Caused by laiesséz faire and environmentalists prohibiting the use of DDT to kill off the virus carrying mosquitos until it's too late.

Honestly, I am surprised that nobody has taken up this issue here.

Well John, I think we're going to have to drag every soldier out of Iraq over Bush's objections until he's gone. I don't see things getting any better until we ARE gone, and the Iraqis have a bloody civil war that settles the matter, just as we did.

And it will have been our fault.

Does anyone want to talk about Iraq anymore?

Iraq is now, Iraq is real, Iraq is everything that Bush/America is all about.

Let's talk about Americas Iraq policy. Let's weigh the benefits and the costs. With a cool head, let's analyze the plan, the execution, where we are now, and the potential outcomes.

Do you have some new information, or what's with the need to discuss Iraq? The bombing of the Shia shrine was pretty horrific, and demonstrates how an oppressed unfree political system can produce fanatics with zero respect for others. Hopefully the country can prevent itself from falling into civil war. If it does fall into civil war, the Iraqis will be the big losers. If it stays out of civil war and can establish some normal system of governing itself (as does 90% of the population on the planet), it will be good for the Iraqis.

What you wanna discuss?
